Shi Fu Marybeth Daucher

Ms. Marybeth has been training at Gaithersburg US Martial Arts Center since 2000 and currently holds a 2nd degree Black Belt Sash under Shi-ye Dunphy and a 1st degree Black Belt Sash with The World Kuo Shu Federation. She is the highest ranking female student at US Martial Arts and a multiple medalist in open-hand and two-person forms, weapons and light-contact sparring at the U.S. Kuoshu Federation International tournament. Ms. Marybeth has a strong foundation in external Kung Fu styles as well as several internal martial arts styles. She is an assistant instructor to US Martial Arts Center Black Belt Sashes and instructor for intermediate Belt sashes. As a student of Shi-ye Dunphy, Ms. Marybeth has attained a deeper understanding and appreciation for the breadth and depth of Chinese Martial Arts as a discipline and way of life. Her goal is to use her experience to teach USMA students the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of becoming a martial artist.
