Ms. Rebecca Bennett
Ms. Bennett began her training in 2016 under Master Joe Dunphy. She holds the unique honor of not only being among his final students but also of becoming IFCMA’s first graduating class of Black Sash in 2021. She has been assisting and teaching with us for many years, finally becoming an ITSPA Certified instructor in 2022.
Ms. Bennett’s Martial Arts journey began with only fitness in mind. She wanted to lose weight while learning something fun and practical. In her first 18 months of training, she lost over 90 pounds and became irrevocably entrenched in all our school offers.
Though Ms. Bennett specializes in Long-staff and Lei Tai, she more proudly lays claim to the title: “Jill”-of all trades. She trains, teaches, and competes in both external and internal styles. She frequently medals in Lei Tai, Kung Fu, and Tai Chi in Local and International competitions. She is also our communications lead/ main contact for students.
